What's up in Vegas

Wow the last 30 days have been amazing here at The Church in Las Vegas!

We moved into our new 7 million dollar state of the art facility at the end of March and ever since we did we have been growing like crazy. We just held our 4th annual Golden Egg Hunt which is the largest Easter Egg hunts in the state of Nevada with 10,000 + in attendance. Channel 13, 3 and 8 all showed up to catch the action on camera. That weekend we had over 2200 in attendance at our services which is not bad as we are only a 3 year old church. But with new growth comes new challenges like we already need a bigger building.

Speaking of buildings we are celebrating our Grand Opening on May 7th which creates for a busy month of May as we are hosting our first annual youth conference as well. We are all very excited for our grand opening as there will be many guests from out of town as well as some local politicians coming to help us celebrate. If you want to join us for our celebration we would love to have you at either one of our services on Sunday morning May 7th (8:30 or 10:30).

The Very next weekend we are hosting our Movement Youth Conference "The Door" (www.themovementconference.com) which is going to become an annual event for our church and prayerfully for the whole Southwest corner of the U.S. Right now it looks like we will have 500+ in attendance for our first youth conference which is pretty good I think.

So needless to say we have been very busy here at The Church in Vegas. Getting ready for the conference has been fun but crazy at times Thank God for a Great wife, a Great assistant, Great leaders and Great interns I could not do it with out them.

So besides working at one of the greatest church's in the U.S. running an internship, overseeing a thriving youth ministry (you guys all rock and are my favorite even the ones I get on from time to time) I also have some traveling opportunities coming up. It looks like I will be speaking in San Diego this summer, going to Uganda, Michigan, Massachusetts and I had to turn down Romania in August for my good friend Jabins wedding (I would not miss it for anything). So those are just a few traveling opps coming up. I am praying that Australia opens up again as there is a great opportunity for me to speak to the youth of one of the greatest churches in Australia. Pastor Benny is trying to help open that door up for me.
