BOO!
What does that have to do with today's post - absolutely nothing, but it was Halloween yesterday so I thought I would scare you.
So I did a little research on Halloween all got started, it would take to long to tell you all about it now if you do not know but lets just say this - We Americans can make a "Buck $" off of anything.
The big questing is this, Do I let my 3 year old daughter support the capitalist mentality of all of America, go from house to house and get more candy then one should humanly consume in a year, let her run around the house on a sugar high bumping into everything possible, rot her teeth out and then as parents try and figure out years from now why she is addicted to sugar and why do we have such high dentist costs? - Well here is my answer, I don't know!
Last night the answer was no, but that might change next year. I mean I told her not to long ago that she would never have a dog but it looks like that is changing too. Pretty soon my daughter is going to think the word "Never" means "in a few months honey". Shsh what am I teaching my own kids.
Anyway back to Halloween. So rather than 'Trik or Treating' on Sunday night we took her to an alternative at my church. She had a lot of fun and loved the fact that she won a "My Little Pony". Last night she just dressed up like a dog and handed out candy to all the kids that came to our house, all two of them that is. Here is the irony in the whole thing. I did not let my daughter go 'trick or treating' last night but I was annoyed that we only had two come to our house after I bought six bags of candy - HMMMM.
Thanks for listening

Church is always an alternative. That is all I knew growing up. I never once when trick or treating. Though I wish I had at least once or twice. It would have been fun to atleat dress up. It's all good though..peace out.
Ya I went trick or treating several times. I don't think there i anything wrong with dressing up, haveing fun and gettins some candy. I have talked to other parents though and it seems like less and less kids are diong it these days.
