Making Jesus Famous (Video Devotional)

Watch Video

In today's Devotional I talk about making Jesus famous. When we use our ability to make Jesus famous rather than ourselves the end result is always a celebration. Here in Luke 7 we see the story of a man who's servant was sick and this man came to Jesus simply because "he heard about Jesus". We need to make sure we are doing what we can for people to hear about Jesus because He is and always will be the answer.

Great word! Also in Ruth 4 today it said, "Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you this day without a close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel!"

Wow! I missed that one Mel. Great addition to the devotional though, thanks for adding that. It is our heart at Urban to make Jesus famous and not ourselves.

This reminds me of that scripture in Mark where people say of the disciples and Jesus, that those are the men that have turn the world upside down. That's always in my mind and on my heart. That everything we do would proclaim Jesus that his name might be famous and that it would be said of us that we were a group of people that turned San Diego and the world upside down!
