Daily Bible Reading - Esther 1, Amos 6, 2 Timothy 3-4
Happy Thanksgiving
It has become a tradition for me when I wake up on Thanksgiving morning to lay in bed and give God thanks for everything that comes to mind. From Family to friends and financial blessings to hard times in my life, I give God thanks.
As I was reading through the Bible reading this morning and especially in Timothy I was overwhelmed with gratefulness and thankfulness for God's word. His word has kept me, guided me, corrected me and encouraged me. I am the man I am today because of The Word of God! Today I am thankful for His word that has never failed me or let me down.
I am not only thankful for His word but I am thankful for all the people that God has placed in my life to allow His word to flow through and into my life. I think my 5 year old daughter put it best this morning when Katie asked her what she was thankful for. Faith (my 5 year old) replied, "I am thankful for all the humans....everywhere!"
