Here is the story of my flight back from Australia.
We left Australia at 1:45pm on Wednesday morning which I believe was the 8th and we arrived home at 2:15pm - Wow look at that we flew 7456miles in only 30 minutes - HMMM.
The plane ride was kind of interesting though. You see I rode in economy plus all the way there so I decided to pray and ask God to upgrade me I just did not think it would happen the way it did. I got on the plane and for a brief moment thought about sitting in one of the empty business class seats because there was a lot of them, but the conviction of the Holy Spirit set in and I did not do it. I decided to take my lovely seat right behind the bulk head. The only thing separating me from business class and economy plus was that little two inch wall. Now the two inch wall is a whole nother story. I had just fallen asleep when my leg twitched and I kicked the wall so hard that I thought I broke my toe. At this point I was in so much pain that I was wide awake so I decided to watch a movie. As I was watching the movie I started to doze off so I decided to go with it. I was just about to finely enter some peacefully rest when I hear a commotion around me and a voice over the intercom saying "Is there a doctor on the plane, if there is could you please meet us over at seat 32F. I though to myself wait a minute that is my row - Wait is that my seat. It was the seat right next to me. The lady next to me was having a heart attack. I moved so that the doctor could do her thing. I though to myself now what. I could either wonder around the crowds in economy plus or I could sit in one of those nice cushy seats in business class. Being the honest God fearing man I am to quickly went forward and took the cushy seat in business class. I was only there for maybe 45 seconds when I was quickly surrounded by 5 flight attendants. I thought they were going to mug me or something. They asked me where my seat was. I told them that I had to move because the lady next to me was having a heart attack. They said I had to go back to economy. I thought to myself man these guys are more worried about me sitting in their seat than they are about the women dying on the plane. HMM - sounds like some Christians, they are more concerned about there seat on Sunday morning then about all the people who are dying around them and going to hell. Anyway, I told them if they could find me another bulk head seat I would gladly move. Fortunately for me they were unable to find one and the head flight attendant told me to to sit in business class. With a smile I said ok. As I sat down and rode in that seat for the next 8 hours all I could think about is that this women almost died for me to bet bumped up a class. Which does not compare to the fact the Jesus did die so that I could get bumped up to another class. A first class Christian life filled with the Holy Spirit.
I thought I had died and gone to heaven. My seat turned into a bed and I got really good meals with real silverware. I also got these cute little salt and pepper shaker guys. It was really cool. As soon as we landed the paramedics rushed onto the plane and the lady ended up being fine. And me well all I could think is "man flight UA876 sure was a weird flight but wow was that seat comfortable".
Thanks for listening
